DIY Honey Vanilla Iced Latte

Are you missing getting an iced latte from your favorite coffee shop? We have an easy recipe for you to create your own Honey Vanilla iced lattes at home with only a few ingredients you likely already have on hand.  Easy and delicious!

Things you’ll need:

-large mason jar (large bowl if not on hand)

-cold brew bag (if you don’t have on hand see instructions below)

-1 cup of fav coffee (we like COMA)

-5.5 cups filtered water

-2 tsp vanilla extract

-¼ cup honey (or reg granulated sugar)

-2 cups of milk of choice (we like whole milk or half and half)

First step grind your coffee to medium course if not already previously ground and then place in large cold brew bag, place in large mason jar, add water, and place jar in fridge. Let the coffee steep for 18-24 hours depending on how strong you like your coffee. If you do not have cold brew bags, just place coffee grounds straight into the mason jar and you can strain the grounds out after it sits for the allotted time.

Next step is to make the syrup for our “cold brew latte”.  You’ll take equal parts honey and water and microwave for 30 seconds til heated thoroughly and stir til completely combined.  Add 2 tsp of vanilla and stir until combined. Place syrup in the fridge to cool until the cold brew is completed.

After the cold brew sits for 18-24 hours take out your cold brew bag.  You’ll then add your syrup, milk, and stir till combined.

And there you have it!  A Vanilla Honey iced latte to enjoy all week long! This recipe is very versatile so if you like more coffee flavor, add less milk.  If you enjoy sweeter lattes, add more of the simple syrup. You can really make this recipe your own and create a custom latte of your dreams. Enjoy!
